When applying for temporary car insurance through One Day Insurance, there is some key information that we need to collect to ensure that you are eligible for our policies. To be eligible for our temporary car insurance, you and your vehicle must meet the following requirements:
Driver
Aged 21-74
UK resident for 2+ years
Have full UK Licence for 6+ months
ABI group 1-45
<6 points on your licence
No previous driving bans
Has a current permanent UK address
Vehicle
Vehicle is owned by family or friend, is a courtesy or lease car
Vehicle is not a hire or rental vehicle
Your usual vehicle is not impounded by the police
Minimum car value £1000
Maximum car value £50,000
SDP, SDP+C, Class 1 business use only
